COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will explore TCM approaches to assessing and treating patients affected by concussion or brain injury. Neurobiology, neurological testing, and symptoms correlating to affected brain regions will be covered to create a more informed treatment approach and plan. Patient-practitioner relations specific to brain injury and subpopulations will also be discussed. Key pathogenic factors, etiologies, and patterns frequently involved in brain injury and concussion will be shared, as well as point protocols and herbal approaches to treatment.
