Quinn Takei, DOM, LAc

Quinn Takei is the founder and director of The Center: Natural Health Specialists. He helps people live with a better quality of life through offering holistic personalized care. His comprehensive approach to patient care combines acupuncture, Chinese medicinal herbs, homeopathy, nutrition, supplements, bodywork, manipulation, and lifestyle counseling to help individuals achieve and maintain their optimal health.

Quinn graduated with honors from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine degree. He has trained with some of the world’s leading authorities of Oriental Medicine as well as acupuncture and herbal masters in the hospitals of Beijing and the world renowned Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.

Quinn has been the president and vice president for the Acupuncture Oriental Medicine Association of New Mexico, an instructor and clinical supervisor at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine, served as a consultant for Integrated Specialty Hospital of New Mexico, is the director of some of the largest Oriental Medicine conferences in the nation, and is the author of “The Clinical Reference Guide for Acupuncture” which is one of the top 25 recommended books on acupuncture by the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine(AAAOM)

Quinn is licensed as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico and Licensed Acupuncturist. He is nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine’s (NCCAOM) as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, and Chinese Herbology.

Quinn currently lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and three beautiful daughters.
