Vertigo is a type of dizziness due to the dysfunction of the vestibular system in the inner ear. With this type of sensation, the person will feel as if there is motion when in fact, the person is stationary. The symptoms associated with vertigo may be nausea, vomiting, and difficulty standing or walking. In this video recording, Wei-Yen Chang will first share an introduction of what vertigo is in term of Western Medicine and the common symptoms associated with vertigo. Wei-Yen Chang will also discuss the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pattern differentiation of vertigo and share the herbal treatment for each differentiation.
