Pulse diagnosis traditionally has been revered as Chinese Medicine's cardinal diagnostic practice by many Chinese medical scholars. However, because of the difficulty in mastering pulse taking, pulse diagnosis has unfortunately been reduced to confirming a diagnosis arrived by other diagnostic techniques, rather than being a reliable diagnostic tool in itself.

In this video recording, you will learn the unique diagnostic methods in addition to pulse taking Jimmy Wei-Yen Chang deems necessary when confirming a diagnosis. Jimmy Wei-Yen Chang is one of the very few (if not the only one) who knows and is willing to teach you the invaluable knowledge of how to integrate TCM pulse taking along with other diagnostic methods into diagnosing western biomedical conditions. In this video recording, he will share with you the importance in looking, feeling, and touching various areas of the body such as the arms, legs, and head, and auricular diagnosis, and finally, he will share herbal treatments for the diagnostic findings.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Learn additional diagnostic tools when coming to a conclusion on a diagnosis.
  • Learn what the different color, temperature, and texture mean when they are exhibited on various areas of the body such as the forearm, palm, face, neck and T1 area.
  • Know what herbal treatment may be useful for various diagnostic findings.
