Part VI of this series focuses on high-risk pregnancy. Although not required, Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV, and Part V are highly recommended for an optimal learning experience.

High-Risk Pregnancy: A high-risk pregnancy is one that threatens the health or life of the mother or her fetus. Risk factors include an existing health condition, overweight and obesity, maternal age, and more. In this course, Heather Bruce, an inquisitive acupuncturist, naturopath, and a Mayan/Arvigo therapist specializing in women's health for over 40 years, shares how to resolve high risk pregnancies into easy births and beyond.

In pregnancy, mom’s Kidney energy is to orchestrate the life foundation of another being via her abundant blood support. The cycle of life shows as the monthly making and shedding of her ‘baby nest’. Easy periods/fertility are a sign of health. Uneventful and easy pregnancy naturally follows sexual union if and when the blood and qi levels and circulation of both parents-to-be are abundant.
