Safety in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM) is very important to have a successful practice and positive treating experience. Laraine Crampton is a seasoned acupuncturist and an instructor of the Clean Needle Technique certification. In this course, she shares the three main branches of safety described in AOM. Each of the three main branches has subcategories that practitioners must follow. A safe practice includes a patient-centered practice and is very important for the patient to feel safe and helped rather than deserted.
Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:
Have a deeper understanding of the meaning of safety in AOM
Know how to develop a safe facility for the patient
Recognize what is considered unsafe practice
