Taoist sexual practices literally translates to the “Art of the Bedchamber”. The Art of the Bedchamber is how some Taoists practice the act of sex. The act of sex is also known as “He Qi” or “Joining Energy” or “The Joining of the Essences.” Some Taoists believe that engaging in the sexual art of the bedchamber, one may achieve good health, longevity, and even immortality.
