COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Because a large percentage of patients who are seeking treatment for infertility with TCM are also utilizing western assisted reproductive techniques (ART), it is imperative that Acupuncturists are able to quickly and confidently translate their patient’s western reproductive diagnosis and treatment into a safe and effective TCM pattern-based treatment using Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and lifestyle recommendations. This course is designed to offer treatment strategies and clinical pearls for TCM practitioners working with infertility patients. Ray Rubio will share the knowledge of how to identify the major causes and types of reproductive disorders common seen in industrialized nations and put emphasis on the treatment using Oriental Medicine.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

• Acquire knowledge of western disease diagnosis for reproductive disorders, including pertinent anatomy, physiology, etiology, and pathophysiology.
• Acquire knowledge of Assisted Reproductive Techniques used to treat reproductive disorders.
• Acquire advanced knowledge of OM syndrome differentiation and treatment of reproductive disorders with the modalities of OM.
