COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This is a continuation of Part I, Part II, and Part III which are *STRONGLY* recommended for an optimal learning experience. Dr. Ryan will only answer questions relating to Part I, Part II, or Part III material for those who have participated in the course and need clarification. He will not be re-teaching any portions of Part I, Part II, or Part III material.

Required Tool for Class: (2) 30 cm ruler. When taking this course, students will need two 30cm ruler (has to have centimeters). This is the ruler recommended by the Dr. Ryan.

Abdominal Acupuncture (AA) is a unique therapeutic system created by Professor Zhi-Yun Bo based upon his discovery of the prenatal channel system, known as the Shen Que (Umbilicus) Channel System. Dr. Paul F. Ryan, a seasoned acupuncturist with over 20 years of clinical experience and a top apprentice of Dr. Bo, shares an introduction to Dr. Bo’s Method of Abdominal Acupuncture (BMAA) for internal conditions during the first half of this course. Specific conditions covered include bell's palsy, rheumatroid arthritis, chronic gastritits, and ulcerative colitis.

The second half will be an introduction to Dr. Zuo Chang-bo’s acupuncture alchemy course, which will consist of treatment protocols for deficient yang cold constitution with blood stasis. The focus of this unique and very effective system is following a Taoist Alchemy model of opening the Ren, Du, and Zhong Channels (not exactly the Chong vessel) for returning one's youthful vitality. The "regulate sinews, regulate blood, regulate qi, and treat the spirit" structure is very methodological and the techniques specific to each target are not only effective in treating difficult diseases, but are also the methods and components of the alchemy system.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

• Learn an introduction to AA for internal medicine diseases
• Learn an introduction to Zuo's Acupuncture
