COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Is age merely a number, or is it a reflection of true health? This course delves into the essential parameters that define a state of true health and distinguishes them from those that merely measure disease. Understanding the healing requirements for various diseases is crucial, but equally important is recognizing what constitutes optimal health. The five Blue Zones, regions known for their high concentrations of centenarians, offer a detailed perspective on what optimal health and longevity entail. By exploring these zones, we will identify the common factors that contribute to long and healthy lives, encompassing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of these factors and how they can be applied to improve overall health and longevity.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Learn to identify the key parameters that define true health, differentiating them from those that merely measure disease, and understand the requirements for healing various conditions.
  • Study the characteristics of the five Blue Zones, examining the lifestyle, dietary, and environmental factors that contribute to the high concentration of centenarians in these regions.
  • Apply insights from the Blue Zones to develop strategies for promoting physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, incorporating acupuncture and other holistic practices to support longevity and optimal well-being.
