COURSE DESCRIPTION:
On the surface, it might seem like numerology and Chinese medicine have nothing in common, but this assumption is wide of the mark. It is accurate to say that numerology was created in Greece whereas, China created Chinese medicine. It is also accurate to say that Greece and China had little, or nothing, to do with one another when numerology was created, in the middle 500’s BCE.

Chinese medicine and philosophy, as you probably know, involves many numbers. The Three Powers, Four Levels, Five Elements, Six Divisions, and Seven Emotions are just some of the myriads of systems in Chinese medicine that use numbers to define them.

Numerology does likewise as it attempts to explain each person’s archetype. For the most part there are 9 numbers in this archetype system. Of these 9 numerology numbers, there are ‘Ruling’ or ‘Life Path’ numbers. There are ‘Personal Year’ numbers; and the numbers of your date of birth can also provide you with the ‘Arrows of Pythagoras’. What is interesting here, is that many of these numbers point towards a relationship with the Chinese medicine organ system. That being the case, you can use specific acupuncture point combinations to treat a patient within their numerology numbers and arrows.

While numerology and Chinese medicine may appear unconnected at first glance, a closer examination reveals that the two are mutually beneficial when it comes to providing your patient with the best medical care. Numerology shows a person's archetype or personality, which is quite similar to the Ba Zi analysis used in Chinese medicine. Ba Zi is a branch of Chinese medicine that analyzes a person's birth chart to identify their susceptibility to particular influences throughout their lives. As with Ba Zi, once the practitioner is able to establish the source of a person's root cause for an accurate diagnosis, treatment will be rather straightforward.

This course will provide participants with a better understanding of the Numerology Archetype system's history, as well as the distinctions between a 'Ruling/Life Path' number, a 'Personal Year' number, and the 'Arrows of Pythagoras'; explain what the '27 Club' and '28 Set' are, how to calculate them, and what they represent; and finally, teach participants how to connect the Five Element Archetypes with the Numerology 'Ruling/Life Path Number' Archetypes to be able to apply acupuncture point combinations for treatment.
