COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to provide a thorough understanding of how to manage autoimmune conditions through an integrative approach that combines the strengths of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and modern nutritional science. You will learn to evaluate immune disorders by taking detailed patient histories, analyzing symptoms, and utilizing appropriate laboratory tests to identify immune imbalances. The course will guide you in creating customized treatment plans that aim to balance and stabilize immune dysfunction through the use of Chinese herbs, nutritional strategies, supplementation, and lifestyle interventions. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the anatomy and physiology of the immune system, identifying the root causes of autoimmune conditions, and applying gut-healing nutrition strategies to support immune health. By integrating these diverse approaches, you will be able to offer comprehensive care to patients suffering from autoimmune disorders, enhancing their quality of life and overall health. This course is part three of an engaging four-part series offered by Dr. Shark, where each class builds upon the previous one to deepen your expertise. For the best learning experience, it is recommended to take them in chronological order.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

  • Identify immune disorders and imbalances through comprehensive patient histories, symptom analysis, and laboratory testing, gaining a clear understanding of the underlying causes of autoimmune conditions.
  • Integrate Chinese herbs into treatment plans to help balance and support the immune system, leveraging the unique properties of herbal remedies to address immune dysfunction.
  • Create and implement nutritional plans that promote gut health and support immune function, recognizing the critical role of the gut in overall immune balance.
  • Select and prescribe appropriate supplements to aid in balancing the immune system and managing autoimmune conditions, ensuring a well-rounded approach to patient care.
