COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course offers a comprehensive approach to orthopedic care through the lens of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Students will explore key techniques for isolating and treating musculoskeletal issues, utilizing specialized charts, and understanding body movements. The course covers a full range of integrative modalities, including acupuncture and physical assessments. From the feet up, participants will learn to assess, diagnose, and treat common injuries, ensuring holistic patient care that promotes long-term health and recovery.

Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:

• Identify and isolate specific muscles, ligaments, and bone structures involved in common orthopedic injuries using specialized charts and body movement analysis.
• Apply acupuncture and herbal formulas to effectively treat musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, integrating TCM principles with modern orthopedic techniques.
• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments from the feet up, incorporating both Western orthopedic methods and Traditional Chinese Medicine approaches.
