COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Treating migraines can often be challenging, but with the use of Master Tung's Magic Points, cupping, and bleeding techniques, successful treatment is within reach. This course delves into the TCM understanding of migraines, commonly linked to the Liver/Gallbladder (Wood) imbalances that impact the Earth element, resulting in digestive issues and fatigue. In Tung's Acupuncture system, five unique point patterns target ShaoYang headaches, as well as neck and shoulder pain. By mastering the correct pattern selection based on patient symptoms, you can effectively alleviate headaches while addressing associated conditions.
Led by Susan, the course starts with an introduction to the Seven Operative Theories of Tung's Acupuncture for pain management. You will watch detailed video demonstrations, including cupping, Gua Sha, and bleeding at the Tai Yang area, all accompanied by live commentary. The class focuses on five point patterns located between the Leg Shao Yang and Leg Yang Ming channels, explaining when and why to use each one. The session concludes with a Q&A and an exclusive look at Susan's latest book.
Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:
Gain a thorough understanding of the Seven Operative Theories to enhance the use of Tung’s Acupuncture in pain management.
Learn the role and significance of cupping therapy in treating migraines and supporting overall patient health
