COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Unlock the potential of Ba Gua Scalp Acupuncture—an accessible, highly effective technique with diverse applications. Ideal for treating internal medicine conditions, trauma, and neuro-sensory disorders, this method provides fast and reliable results without the need for extensive study of numerous texts. Dive straight into practical application with our comprehensive course.

Since its development in the 1970s, Chinese scalp acupuncture has branched into various schools, each with its own techniques and treatment areas. Our course focuses on the Ba Gua Head Acupuncture method, rooted in the ancient Nine Palaces and Eight Trigrams of the I Ching. By integrating these with head meridians and acupuncture points, this approach utilizes the trigrams, Five Elements, and corresponding meridians to identify the optimal treatment points, making it a powerful healing tool.

Originally taught by Dr. Sung Weng-Ching, the esteemed Director of Taiwan's Zhishan Chinese Medicine Clinic, this course distills over 40 years of clinical expertise into practical, easy-to-follow lessons. Tina Chen will present the course in English, with Dr. Sung joining for the final hour to answer questions.

This course will cover:

1. The Origins of Ba Gua Scalp Acupuncture
2. Definitions, Key Concepts and Scalp Anatomy
3. Techniques for Locating Primary Points
4. How to Insert Needles Effectively
5. Effective Qi Manipulation
