Dr. Yue Patrick Mok was born in China and raised at Hong Kong. As a teenager in Hong Kong, Dr. Mok studied Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Upon graduating from college, he entered the National Taiwan University Medical School to learn Western Medicine and then further his training in the United States of America. Dr. Mok is board certified in anesthesiology, pain management, pain medicines, forensic medicine, and acupuncture. After years of different medical practices, he now focuses and specializes in acupuncture services for the past fifteen years.
Dr. Mok is a faculty member of the Acupuncture Workshop at the Annual ASA Symposium (Anesthesiology) teaching Perioperative Acupuncture to anesthesiologists.
Dr. Mok was also a member on the committee that advised the US congress in the 1980's, along with other mechanisms, leading to the legalization of acupuncture for clinical service in which the needles for acupuncture were no longer considered "experimental".
