Ronda Wimmer has been in the sports medicine profession for over twenty five years. Her experience and expertise is unique and extremely diversified academically and clinically. Her teaching background is multi-disciplined and she is currently teaching at Chapman University, Golden West College, California State University, Long Beach and South Baylo University. Dr. Wimmer is an advocate and recognized authority in promoting and implementing Oriental medicine as part of the sports medicine team and for preserving indigenous cultural heritage. Clinically, she has a private practice in Newport Beach, CA and has traveled nationally and internationally working with Olympic athletes as part of the sports medicine team for the 2004 Olympics in Athens and the 2008 Volleyball World League Championship; she is also working with the USA Men’s Volleyball Team and the Anaheim Ducks.
She has lectured internationally on sports medicine, written numerous articles, taught at professional seminars, appeared on national radio and TV, and has peer reviewed and published several books within sports medicine, anatomy, physiology, ethnomedicine, and Oriental medicine.
