Dr. Richard Fox graduated Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles in 1983. In 1987, he started his post-doctoral work in athletic injuries receiving his degree as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. In 1992, Dr. Fox was honored as the 16th person in the world to receive Diplomate status as a chiropractic sports physician. From 1990 to present day, he continues to work with elite, world-class, USA Olympic medalists, and professional athletes. In 1990, he started working with the medical tent of the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP). Since 2004 to present, Dr. Fox has been serving as Director of medical services for the Los Angeles Derby Dolls, an all women’s professional banked track roller derby team. He is currently a featured and guest sports injury columnist for Blood and Thunder and Five on Five magazines, respectively. As a former faculty member at Southern California University of Health Sciences, Dr. Fox served as an Assistant Professor in Clinical Sciences supervising interns in patient care. He remains as Associate Faculty, offering Chiropractic interns a private practice rotation in sports injuries and acute trauma, with the Los Angeles Derby Dolls.
