Miranda Black, LAc

Miranda earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 2008 and promptly left the country to find work and experience abroad. Nearly a decade later, her path has taken her all over the world including to Mexico, the Caribbean, Thailand, Japan, Jordan, a handful of European countries, and the kingdom of Bhutan. Living, working and travelling abroad has been a passion of Miranda's her entire adult life. She is pleased to share Chinese medicine with the world, as well as to counsel other practitioners who would like to practice Chinese Medicine abroad.

While working internationally, Miranda has grown affection for aspects of Chinese Medicine that can empower patients to take better care of their health beyond acupuncture. Specific areas of interest and expertise include Chinese Medical Astrology, Chinese herbology--in particular the topical use of herbs, and nutrition therapy. Miranda maintains a private practice in Southern Oregon while continuing to work abroad in short stints from time to time.
