Lorraine Wilcox, L.Ac.

Lorraine Wilcox, L.Ac. is the author of two books on moxibustion and the translator of a number of Ming dynasty medical books. She has been licensed in California since 1989. Wilcox reads medical Chinese and likes to mine the old books for techniques and treatments that can be brought into the modern clinic. Whether it is moxibustion or herbal preparations, Wilcox often turns her kitchen into a lab and works out the way these things were prepared and used in the past.
