Laura Zaranski, L.Ac, MSOM, has been practicing Chinese medicine for over 24 years in Chesterton, Indiana and has one of the largest practices in North America. In her clinic, she specializes in internal medicine and uses all aspects of TCM to provide long-term, corrective treatments to patients of all ages. Laura holds a bachelor's degree in physiology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, a master's degree in Chinese medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, and has been studying herbalism, both Western and Eastern, for over 35 years. Beginning her studies with Michael Tierra's East West Herbology course, she continued her herbal education with Maccioca, Flaws, and Jimmy Chang, to name a few. Laura has lectured at universities across the country, including Purdue Northwest in Indiana and Northwestern University in Chicago. Her unique approach to understanding Eastern and Western terminology and diagnostics, as well as her understanding of macro and micro physiology, make her a valuable resource for both patients and practitioners.
