Julie Armstrong, DACM, LAc, MS, BME, MSOM

Julie Armstrong D.A.C.M., L.Ac, M.S. BME, M.S.O.M. received her MS in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Dongguk University Los Angeles in 2012 and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2018. She also earned a BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2006, specializing in Neuroscience and Medical Device Development. In 2000, Julie was certified as a Reiki Master/Teacher, and continues to practice and teach Reiki to thousands of students around the world as well as consulting for large organizations. She was deemed the youngest Grand Master to date, due to her prolific teaching.

Dr. Armstrong's passion for medicine stems from her 26-year-old son's struggles after a severe traumatic birth injury leaving him with spastic quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. The M.D. wanted to give him harmful medications for seizures as a newborn, which is when she discovered that Chinese herbs could stop the seizure activity naturally. As a Biomedical Engineer, Julie helped develop implantable neurostimulators for rehabilitation from brain injuries like her son's. She managed clinical trials around the world and trained world-renowned neurosurgeons in the implantation of neurostimulators.

Dr. Armstrong is a licensed acupuncturist in the states of Arizona and California. She also spent several years on the faculty at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ASAOM) in Tucson, AZ teaching Chinese herbs and nutrition, internal medicine and gynecology courses.

Dr. Armstrong specializes in Traditional Chinese Medicine for chronic disorders, scalp and kinetic acupuncture for neurorehabilitation, gynecology and pediatrics. She utilizes her deep knowledge of physiology and medicine, the intuitive sense derived from her Reiki practice and the care of a mother battling the "Big Pharma" mindset to give her son and the thousands of patients she has treated, the best care naturally. The combination of medical knowledge, Reiki and passion has consistently produced countless incredibly successful outcomes for patients and a 6-figure practice year after year.
