This course covers the theoretical basis of acupuncture treatment of musculoskeletal disorder from a Chinese medicine perspective, a review of the anatomy and anatomically based pathology of low back and buttock disorder, and how to differentiate between joint and muscle pain. Finally, the specifics of treatment formulation using local acupuncture (traditional and extra points such as Hua Tou Jia Ji) are addressed.
